When should you visit Kraków?
Kraków is an underrated European city with far more to offer than its reputation as a party destination. Beyond the historic Old Town and atmospheric Kazimierz, you’ll find romantic streets, excellent restaurants, intimate jazz bars and a surprisingly rich cultural scene. It can be a great city for a weekend away with friends, but just as easily for a romantic escape or a slower food-and-culture trip. The best time to visit depends on what you’re after: spring and autumn bring a great balance of comfortable weather and fewer crowds, while summer adds long evenings and a packed events calendar.

September combines mild temperatures with fewer tourists than the summer peak, while Kraków still has a strong calendar of cultural events and festivals. With average temperatures around 9–19°C and a slight drop in rainfall from the summer months, it is particularly well suited to walking-heavy city breaks.
